I don't know in Houston, but try: Fast Food Restaurant Movie Theater Grocery Store Movie Place (Blockbuster/Hollywood Video)
Answer 3 :
Go to the local job center they can help you
Answer 4 :
Stay in your community. Find one of your local community advertisers and pick one of the small businesses that advertise within. Go to them and see if they need help. Also find a company that is service based so you can learn a trade. Meaning, work for a pool cleaner, landscaper, etc. When you get to college you can buy your own equipment and make some money doing the same trade, and be your own boss. Also, keep in mind you must drive to work, so keep your travel expenses down. I played a game with myself at this age. I tripled my travel to work expenses (in theory) and when I got paid I put the difference in a savings account. Over time you get so use to doing this you save a good amount of money. Also do not spend your first two checks. This will always keep you with a little money in your pocket. And get busy with activities. I got so busy I made the mistake of not cashing checks in time. Be it they were only $75 and $80 back in 1990, but I did not know, at the time, checks had a life-span. Just some extra advice. Good luck
